Artist's Statement

TriPal Arts is the studio name for the husband wife artistic team Janet Trisler and George Palovich. The couple has been creating works jointly or independently for over fifty years. Collaborative art has been created in the medium of ceramics and their range covers small functional vessels to large sculptural works, often whimsical or satiric in expression.
George's independent work has been in ceramics, printmaking (woodblock prints) and drawing and painting. Janet's independent work, besides ceramics has been in drawing and painting.
TriPal Arts Studio holds monthly drawing sessions from the model. All attendees receive the Drawing Newsletter containing drawing tips and examples from the sessions.
Recently, Janet has been creating dolls of relatives and friends. They have been given away but commissions are available. Inquire by email.
